The SDA Oleochemical Division is comprised of companies that produce fatty acids, glycerine, fatty alcohols, fatty nitrogen derivatives (fatty nitriles) or methyl esters from triglycerides in the U.S., Canada or Mexico. Among other activities, the Division sponsors two annual award competitions aimed at furthering the understanding of oleochemicals and their applications.
