Two states have taken action against companies that are producing and marketing a laundry detergent "alternative," The Laundry Solution, Globe or SuperGlobe. The Oregon Attorney General fined TradeNet Marketing, Inc. and TOP Marketing Business Consulting, Inc. $190,000 and prohibited them from marketing their laundry globes in Oregon. The Attorney General also warned individual distributors in Oregon to stop selling the products immediately.

In Utah, TradeNet Marketing, Inc. was charged by the Utah Division of Consumer Protection with deceptive sales practices. TradeNet agreed to a $10,000 settlement and to provide full refunds or additional cleaning products to Utahns who file written compla ints.
